Bathroom Refurb

By | Uncategorised

We forgot to mention last year that we have spent 2 years refurbishing and modernising our bathrooms. We were so busy finishing them on time that we didn’t post much!

These little slices of luxury feature underfloor heating, modern easy to use showers and more of them, lots of toilets so you don’t ever need to queue and a bright spacious room to ready yourself for the day.

The hot water is heated from solar panels on the roof and the toilets are flushed with rainwater we have harvested.

We also incorporated 2 fully separate disabled rooms with lots of space which you are welcome to also use as a family shower room, helpful with young kids.

We updated the washing up area, added a boots and muddy maws rinse and this year we are updating the laundry to a similar more modern spec. Come see for yourself…

By | Uncategorised

We are finally allowed to shout about our sparkling new award!

Yesterday we were invited to a very special ceremony to receive the ROSE Award from @visitengland.

Recognition Of Service Excellence – The ROSE Awards showcase the accommodation providers who give the warmest of welcomes and where the staff provide incredible experiences for their customers irrespective of star rating, style or type of accommodation.

These prestigious awards are only given to 100 accommodation providers across the whole of England each year, nominations are put forward by the Visit England inspectors themselves.

We are so incredibly proud and grateful to all our amazing team who make Pennine View the wonderful and welcoming Park it is, this award publicly recognizes the efforts of our team, which we are lucky enough to see everyday.

What a fabulous way to enter into Autumn

The smaller Mountain Pod

By | Uncategorised

Good things come in small packages so they say!

The smaller of our 3 pods is a perfectly cosy, warm and comfortable place to stay. Equipped with a double bench bed with slightly smaller pull out mattress, we would say this pod comfortably sleeps 2 adults and 2 small children or 1 older child.

It includes BBQ and bench table outside, basic crockery and and cutlery, a kettle and small fridge.

Perfect for some outdoor adventures….

19th July – How we will move on

By | Uncategorised | No Comments

Hello all,

We hope you are all well and looking forward to the lifting of restrictions next week. We all feel the move to personal responsibility is a welcome one.

We are of course aware that Covid levels are still rising and that many people are nervous about moving forward. With that in mind we will continue to operate as we have been in terms of hygiene, extra cleaning, mask wearing and relatively contactless check in procedures.

The measures we have put in place have worked well so far and we want to do our personal duty to keep our staff and guests safe. We ask that guests continue to wear a mask when entering reception and please do not travel to site if unwell. We will continue our no fee/full refund cancellation policy for the remainder of this year.

In The Engine Shed we will remove compulsory mask wearing but if our staff choose to wear them we fully support that and we will continue with table service both inside and out (mainly because it’s just nice isn’t it?!). We don’t mind admitting we will be glad not to constantly worry about how many people are sat at a table though – its been a long year!

We welcome with open arms this step towards normality (and humanity!) but we want everyone to feel comfortable in that process so we ask kindly for everyone to show respect to others choices.

Looking forward to actually seeing your smiles again! 🙂

Much love,

The Team at Pennine View Park
